Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate my age as on a specific date?
Enter your date of birth and change "Age as on" to the cut-off date in your exam notification (for example 1 August). The result shows your exact age in years, months and days on that date.
How is age calculated for government exams?
Notifications state a cut-off date, such as "age as on 01-08-2026". Your age must be within the limits on that date. Relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories are added to the upper limit.
What if I was born on 29 February?
In non-leap years, we count your birthday on 1 March, which is how most legal systems treat it.
