Tips that prevent rejection

  • Use a recent colour photo on a plain white or light background, face centred, both ears visible, no cap or dark glasses.
  • Photograph your signature in daylight on plain white paper, filling the frame. Turn on Clean signature to remove shadows.
  • Do not upload a photo of a photo. Blurry or tilted photos are a common reason for rejection.
  • Save the downloaded files with simple names (no spaces) if your portal is picky.

How to use the Exam Photo & Signature Resizer tool

  1. Choose your photo or signature (a phone photo is fine).
  2. Select your exam and file type from the Preset list, for example "IBPS Photo".
  3. Drag and zoom so your face fills the frame as the notification describes.
  4. Wait for ✓ Pass, then download and upload it to the portal.

Frequently asked questions

Which photo size is required for SSC, IBPS, UPSC and NEET?

See the table on this page. In short: IBPS photo 200 × 230 px, 20–50 KB; SSC photo 3.5 × 4.5 cm, 20–50 KB; UPSC photo 20–200 KB; NEET passport photo 10–200 KB. Always check the latest official notification.

Why does the portal say my photo is too small even though it looks fine?

Many portals have a minimum file size (for example 20 KB). Small, simple photos compress below that. This tool pads the JPEG to the minimum without changing the picture.

Can I make my signature background white?

Yes. Turn on Clean signature. It whitens the paper, darkens the ink and removes shadows from phone photos. It is on by default for signature presets.

Is it safe to use for ID photos?

Yes. Everything is processed on your device; nothing is uploaded. You can even turn off the internet after the page loads.

The specs on this page differ from my notification. Which should I follow?

Always follow your official notification. Portals change specs over time. Choose "Custom size" and type the numbers from your notification.
