Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate a discount?
Discounted price = price × (1 − discount ÷ 100). ₹2,000 at 25% off is ₹2,000 × 0.75 = ₹1,500, so you save ₹500.
Is "20% + 10% off" the same as 30% off?
No. The extra 10% applies to the already-discounted price, so 20% + 10% is 28% off in total. ₹1,000 becomes ₹800, then ₹720.
Is GST added before or after the discount?
In India, GST is charged on the price after discount (the transaction value). Most MRP prices already include GST; use the GST field only when the price shown is before tax.
