What you can do
- Change existing text: fix a wrong name, date or amount by clicking it.
- Fill in forms: fillable fields appear in a list; for plain forms, type and tick on the lines.
- Correct mistakes: white-out a wrong figure and type the right one on top.
- Hide personal details (Aadhaar number, account number) before sharing; tick Flatten so they're permanently removed.
- Mark up documents: highlight important lines, draw boxes and add a logo or stamp.

Frequently asked questions
How do I edit text in a PDF for free?
Choose your PDF and keep Edit text selected. Click any line: the old words are covered and a text box appears in the same place and size with the same words, ready to change. Then press Download.
Can I fill a PDF form?
Yes. If the PDF has fillable fields, a Fill the form box lists them all. Type your answers, tick boxes and pick options, then download. Tick Lock the form to stop further changes. For forms without fields, use Add text and Tick on the lines.
Will edited text look exactly like the original?
It matches the position and size. The font is a standard one (Helvetica), so a different original font may look slightly different. For scanned PDFs there is no text to edit: use White-out and Add text instead.
Is white-out the same as redaction?
Not by itself: a white box hides text visually, but the text is still in the file and can be copied. Tick Flatten pages before downloading to turn each page into an image. Then the hidden text is permanently gone (true redaction).
Can I type in Hindi or other languages?
Yes. English text is added as real, selectable PDF text; Hindi and other scripts are added as sharp images using your device's fonts.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Editing happens entirely in your browser.
