The short version

Your files never leave your device. PDFs, images, videos and the text you type are processed by code running in your own browser. We do not upload, store or see them.
No account, no login. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number to use any tool.
Advertising and analytics may use cookies, as explained below. You can control them.

1. Files and content you process

All tools on SaralKit run locally using JavaScript, WebAssembly and WebCodecs in your browser. The files you choose are read into your device's memory, processed there and handed back to you as a download. They are not transmitted to our servers or any third party. Some tools download helper code (for example a PDF engine or an image decoder) from our own website the first time you use them; this is code coming to you, not your data going out.

The currency converter and the salary-abroad calculator fetch public exchange rates from the Frankfurter API (European Central Bank data). That request contains no personal information: not your amounts, salary or any identifier beyond what every web request includes (your IP address).

Some tools remember your settings or unsent text (for example the word counter) in your browser's local storage so they survive a page refresh. This stays on your device and you can clear it at any time by clearing site data in your browser.

2. Information collected automatically

Like every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Usage events never contain file names, file contents or anything you type.

3. Advertising

To keep the tools free, we show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are shown a consent message (a Google-certified consent management platform) before personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used.

4. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the GDPR (EU/UK) and similar laws, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data and to withdraw consent. Because we do not collect your files or account details, there is usually nothing for us to delete; cookie data can be cleared in your browser and ad preferences changed through the links above. 5. Children

The tools are suitable for students. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Advertising on pages for students is configured to avoid personalised ads where required.

6. Donations

If you choose to support us, the payment is handled by the provider you pick (your UPI app, Buy Me a Coffee, Ko-fi, GitHub Sponsors or PayPal) under their privacy policy. We receive only what that provider shares with us (usually your name and amount).
