Tips for a clean recording
- Close notifications and private tabs before sharing your entire screen.
- Use "Standard" quality for most recordings: about 30 MB per minute at 1080p.
- After recording, trim the start and end, then compress it for sharing.

Can I record my voice and system sound?
Yes. Tick Microphone to narrate. Tick Tab/system audio and, in the share dialog, enable "Share audio" (Chrome/Edge support this for tabs, and on Windows for the whole screen).
Does it work on mobile phones?
Mobile browsers do not allow websites to record the screen. Use your phone's built-in screen recorder, then compress or trim the video here.
Why is my recording WebM, not MP4?
Some browsers (like Firefox) can only record WebM. Convert it with our MP4 converter; recent Chrome and Edge record MP4 directly.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The recording stays in your browser until you download it.
