Frequently asked questions
How do I resize an image without stretching it?
Enter only the width (or only the height) and the other side is calculated automatically. If you set both, choose "Crop to fill" or "Fit inside" to keep the proportions.
What size is an Instagram post?
1080 × 1080 px for square posts, 1080 × 1350 px for portrait and 1080 × 1920 px for Stories and Reels. Pick them from the Preset list.
Can I resize many photos at once?
Yes. Add as many images as you like; the same settings apply to all, and you can download them as one ZIP.
Will resizing reduce quality?
Making an image smaller keeps it sharp because we downscale in steps. Enlarging (upscaling) cannot add detail, so it may look softer.
How do I resize to a specific file size in KB?
Use the resize image to KB tool, which targets a file size instead of pixels.
