Plan your attendance, not just track it
Check your attendance after every week so a short illness or a trip home does not push you below the limit near exams. Add the classes remaining in the semester to see the best percentage you can still reach.

Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate attendance percentage?
Attendance % = classes attended ÷ total classes held × 100. For example, 45 out of 60 classes is 75%.
How many classes do I need to attend to reach 75%?
If you have attended A of T classes, you need x more consecutive classes where (A + x) ÷ (T + x) ≥ 0.75, which gives x ≥ (0.75T − A) ÷ 0.25. The calculator works this out for any target.
How many classes can I bunk and still stay above 75%?
You can miss y more classes as long as A ÷ (T + y) ≥ 0.75, so y ≤ A ÷ 0.75 − T. The calculator shows the safe number.
Why is 75% the rule?
Many Indian universities and boards (and UGC/AICTE-affiliated colleges) require at least 75% attendance to sit end-semester exams. Some allow condonation down to 65% for medical reasons. Check your institution's rules.
